Youth Engagement

St. Martin de Porres youth are engaged in the life of the parish and the wider community. Youth participate and lead the congregation in worship through the Music Ministry, Altar Servers and Lectors.

Albert Lenhard Family Scholarship Fund

The Albert Lenhard Family Scholarship Fund was established in 1985 through a bequest of the estate of Albert M. Lenhard. The Scholarship was developed to assist applicants who wanted to continue their formal education beyond high school at the undergraduate and graduate levels. To be eligible for the Scholarship the candidate will have to be residing in the geographic boundaries of the Catholic Churches of Central Buffalo: (Blessed Trinity, SS Columba Brigid, St. Ann, St. Katherine Drexel, St. Lawrence, and St. Martin De Porres).

Boy Scout Troop #139

Boy Scout Troop #139 was founded in St Martin de Porres parish. Troop #139 helps provide structure and guidance to young men of the parish and Buffalo community. Troop #139 is proud to have had 6 Eagle Scouts come through their ranks.

Boy Scout Troop #139 is currently led by Leona Harper and James Morrell.
